# Western Cape Agriculture, Economic Development and Tourism MEC Ivan Meyer says exports remain a key driver of economic growth, investment and job creation in the province. Meyer says the provincial government is helping businesses overcome technical challenges, improve competitiveness, diversify markets and access international trade opportunities. He says exports are a cornerstone of economic growth and job creation. To strengthen the sector, his department is launching the Export Global Accelerator Programme Fund, aimed at supporting businesses to expand their presence in international markets.
