Emfuleni’s missing vehicles traced to other municipalities

# Four of Emfuleni municipality in Gauteng’s missing vehicles have been traced when investigators found them registered to municipalities in KwaZulu-Natal and Limpopo. Emfuleni paid almost 16-million-rand for 18 vehicles, but only seven were delivered. Businessman Mpho Edward Malema, who has been identified in media reports as the supplier, was arrested last week on charges of corruption, fraud and theft. The Gauteng political killings task team is investigating the case. Malema was expected in the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate’s Court today, while police continue trying to trace the remaining missing vehicles.
