# eThekwini mayor, Cyril Xaba has announced that GO!Durban’s bus service will go live in December this year. This follows an agreement between the city and the Provincial and National Departments of Transport over the project. The mayor says the city will procure 22 buses that will operate on the main GO!Durban route, while operators will procure the feeder transport routes through Vehicle Operating Companies:
