# The City of Tshwane is advancing a strategic partnership with Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator to tackle youth unemployment through its Ithuba programme. The partnership would use Harambee’s youth support, opportunity-matching and contact-centre systems to connect young people with work and training opportunities. Tshwane aims to create 30-thousand economic opportunities over three years through work readiness, jobs, skills development and entrepreneurship. The city says more than one-thousand-500 young people have already benefited from Ithuba partners, with further collaboration expected.
