# Eskom says major power supply interruptions are affecting customers in several parts of the Western Cape. Affected areas include Beaufort West, George, Laingsburg, Oudtshoorn, Citrusdal farms, the Cape Winelands and Blackheath. Repair teams have been dispatched to assess the damage, but there is currently no estimated restoration time. Bad weather has also prevented Eskom’s teams from accessing some areas, including Oudtshoorn. Customers are urged to treat all electrical infrastructure as live, as power could be restored without warning.
