September is also recognised as Arbor Month, with this year’s theme, “My Tree, My Oxygen, Plant Yours Today.” Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo spokesperson Jenny Moodley says the campaign promotes tree planting, indigenous species and resilient urban forests. She emphasised that Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo is supporting efforts to create greener, healthier public spaces across the city.
