# ActionSA has referred eThekwini city manager Musa Mbhele to the National Prosecuting Authority over alleged corruption linked to the Phoenix housing project. This after the Special Investigating Unit found evidence of corruption and recommended that several companies and individuals be blacklisted. ActionSA’s Alan Beesley says some of the companies continued to be used by the municipality despite the findings. Beesley also raised concerns over Mbhele’s alleged failure to act on the findings:
