# EFF leader Julius Malema has agreed to apologise to Supreme Court of Appeal judge Keoagile Matojane in Parliament. Parliament’s Ethics Committee found his questioning of the judge on a personal case at the Judicial Service Commission breached the Code of Ethical Conduct. In JSC interviews in 2021, when Matojane was contesting for appointment in the SCA, Malema asked him about his ruling that the EFF should pay former Finance minister Trevor Manuel 500-thousand-rand. Malema challenged the ruling in the Western Cape High Court, but the court dismissed his application.
