The victory sent Sundowns through on the away-goals rule after a 3-3 aggregate draw. Orlando Pirates are one win away from a fifth successive MTN8 title, after beating Sekhukhune United 3-0, 4-0 on aggregate, in the second leg of their semifinal tie in Soweto. The final will be played on October 10th, with the venue yet to be confirmed.
