DA demands answers over unfinished Germiston fire station [SOUND]

# The DA in Ekurhuleni says 16.7-million-rand has been spent on the unfinished Klopper Park Fire Station in Germiston, seven years after construction started. DA’s Khathutshelo Rasilingwane says construction began on 20 March 2019 but the contract was terminated a year later due to poor workmanship. She says Ekurhuleni spent 13-million-rand on three service providers and 3.6-million-rand on safeguarding the site. She wants the MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditonal Affairs in Gauteng, Jacob Mamabolo, to explain:
