# Western Cape Education MEC Jaco Londt has wished the province’s 71-thousand-289 full-time matric candidates well as trial examinations begin this week. Londt says the exams provide learners with an opportunity to assess their progress and identify areas requiring more attention before the final National Senior Certificate exams. He called on learners to access past papers, study guides, subject support and wellbeing resources through the Department’s Matric Support platform:
