# The DA says the latest Social Research Foundation poll shows its national support has increased to 30-percent, narrowing the gap with the ANC to seven-percentage points ahead of the 4 November local government elections. The poll puts the ANC on 37-percent nationally, with the DA on 30-percent, while in Gauteng the DA leads on 37-percent against the ANC’s 31-percent. The party’s Ashor Sarupen says the poll reflects growing support for the DA’s campaign, which focuses on improving service delivery, infrastructure and job creation.
