# Western Cape police are investigating three separate shooting incidents in Langa, Gugulethu and Khayelitsha that left eleven people dead overnight. Five people were killed in Langa, three men in Khayelitsha and three people in Gugulethu, where two others were injured. No arrests have been made and the motives remain unknown. Police spokesperson Novela Potelwa says reinforced deployments are active in affected areas and other hotspots and no arrests have been made.
