# Justice minister Mmamoloko Kubayi has welcomed the appointment of advocate Samkelo Callaway Mtwana as director of Public Prosecutions for the Eastern Cape Division. Mtwana, who has served as acting DPP since April, brings extensive prosecution experience, including work at Investigating Directorate Against Corruption and the Mthatha Specialised Commercial Crimes Unit. Kubayi says the appointment will strengthen justice administration and public confidence in prosecutions.
