# The Western Cape Standing Committee on Social Development welcomes progress in replacing South African Social Security Agency gold cards ahead of the 31 August deadline. Committee chairperson Wendy Kaizer-Philander praised SASSA and Postbank for expanding card replacement services and strengthening partnerships with retailers, communities, and municipalities. She says more than 43-thousand beneficiaries in the province still need to switch to the new Postbank Black Card to avoid payment disruptions.
