# Transport minister Barbara Creecy and Deputy minister Mkhuleko Hlengwa welcome the Department of Transport’s second consecutive clean audit for the 2025/26 financial year. They say the outcome reflects the department’s continued commitment to good governance, accountability and sound financial management. Spokesperosn Collen Msibi says in the 2024/25 financial year, the department achieved a clean audit for the first time in 31 years. He says the ministers also credited the Audit Committee and Parliament’s Transport Portfolio Committee for strengthening oversight and accountability.
