FlySafair sees demand drop amid fuel price pressures

# FlySafair says customer demand has fallen by 14-percent as soaring jet fuel prices continue to affect South Africa’s aviation sector. The airline says the decline follows the introduction of a temporary fuel surcharge after Jet A1 fuel prices surged because of global supply disruptions linked to conflict in the Middle East. FlySafair says it remains committed to affordable air travel and will continue reviewing the surcharge weekly, reducing or removing it as fuel prices stabilise.
