# A man charged with the attempted murder of the MK Party’s district secretary in Ilembe, Zanele Mbhamali and her husband, today appeared in the Ndwedwe District Court in KwaZulu-Natal. The case was postponed to 3 August to allow the accused to secure legal representation. Police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe says investigations also revealed that a second suspect linked to the case was shot and killed by unknown attackers at his home on 29 June:
