COSATU urges stronger labour law enforcement, job creation [SOUND]

# The Congress of South African Trade Unions remains concerned about the Department of Employment and Labour’s ability to enforce labour laws and tackle unemployment. COSATU says millions of vulnerable workers still face labour rights violations. The federation spokesperson Matthew Parks says the planned recruitment of 20-thousand contract labour inspectors has fallen short of target and is calling for a fully capacitated department to protect workers and create jobs:
