# Energy regulator, Nersa, has extended the public consultation period on its draft market inquiry into fixed and generation capacity charges levied by electricity distributors. The deadline for written submissions has been moved from 27 July to 8 September to give stakeholders more time to provide detailed feedback. Nersa’s Charles Hlebela encourages electricity customers, municipalities, Eskom, industry groups and the public to comment before the final report is completed:
