# Rugby: Lyle Matthews scored a first-half hat-trick of tries in his debut match for the Sharks in their 26-24 Currie Cup victory over the Pumas in Mbombela on Friday evening In addition to Matthews’ three tries, Kerron van Vuuren added another one with Tim Swiel succeeding with three conversions. The Pumas also scored four tries by Lundi Msenge, Chyle van Zyl, Tino Swanepoel and JJ Scheepers, with Nevaldo Fleurs converting two of them. The victory earned the Sharks five points on the log, with the Pumas picking up two for their losing bonus point.
