BMW recalls more than 10,000 vehicles in SA [SOUND]

# The National Consumer Commission has announced a safety recall affecting ten-thousand-961 BMW 3 Series, 4 Series, 5 Series, 7 Series, X3 and X4 vehicles sold in South Africa since 2016. The recall follows a possible fault in the starter system that could prevent the engine from starting or, in rare cases, cause overheating and smoke. The commission’s Phetho Ntaba urged owners to avoid using the remote engine start function until the repair is completed:
