CapeNature warns public as bird flu continues to affect seabirds [SOUND]

# CapeNature has urged the public to remain vigilant as bird flu continues to affect seabirds and other wild birds along the Western Cape coastline. The conservation agency is advising people not to touch sick or dead birds, to keep pets away from them, and to report sightings to the relevant authorities. CapeNature’s Luke Folb says human infections remain rare, but advises the public to avoid contact with infected birds:
