# Transport minister Barbara Creecy expressed condolences to the families of 16 people killed in a bus crash on the N1 near Touwsrivier in the Western Cape. The department’s spokesperson, Collen Msibi, says the bus was carrying 78 passengers to Idutywa in the Eastern Cape when it overturned early today. Twenty people were injured. Msibi confirmed a probe was ordered and a report is expected within 48 hours:
