# North West businessman Brown Mogotsi has been denied bail for a second time by the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court. His initial application was rejected earlier this month after the Court found he had failed to provide verifiable residential addresses. Mogotsi launched a fresh bid based on what his legal team described as new facts. He remains in custody while facing charges including perjury, defeating the ends of justice, and unlawful possession of a firearm linked to an alleged staged assassination attempt in Vosloorus.
