# Tennis: British number one Emma Raducanu has withdrawn from Wimbledon due to a stress fracture in her lower right leg. She was scheduled to face Croatia’s Antonia Ruzic in today’s first match on Court One. She had been dealing with what she described as a “niggle” in her lower leg since reaching the final at Queen’s earlier this month. Raducanu says playing at Wimbledon, in front of a home crowd, means everything to her, so this is really difficult to process.
