Motorsport: Mercedes withdraws appeal of Monaco Grand Prix result

# Motorsport: Mercedes has withdrawn its right of review request over the results of the Monaco Formula One Grand Prix. George Russell received a five-second time penalty for speeding in the pit lane and was then handed a drive-through penalty for failing to serve his five-second time penalty correctly at a pit stop. This resulted in him dropping to 12th when he was on course for a likely podium. Mercedes’ review was based on Alpine successfully overturning Pierre Gasly’s Monaco penalties, which saw him reinstated to third place.
