Road closures in place for Comrades Marathon

# The eThekwini Municipality has announced extensive road closures ahead of tomorrow’s Comrades Marathon. Approximately 21-thousand-600 runners and an estimated 65-thousand spectators take part in the iconic up-run from Durban to Pietermaritzburg. Key routes including Dr Pixley KaSeme Street, Joseph Nduli Road, sections of the N3, M13 and R103 will be closed and reopened after the last runner passes. The city says the event is expected to boost the local economy, support small businesses and create about one-thousand-300 temporary jobs this weekend.
