# The City of Tshwane has joined the global community in commemorating International Albinism Awareness Day today. Running under the theme “Proudly in my Skin: Celebrating All Skin Tones”, promotes dignity, equality and inclusion for persons with albinism. The city says people with albinism continue to face discrimination, stigma and harmful stereotypes that affect their well-being and opportunities. Tshwane has reaffirmed its commitment to fostering inclusive communities through awareness campaigns, advocacy programmes and partnerships that support the safety, dignity and full participation of persons with albinism.
