# The Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court has postponed the bail appeal of alleged political fixer and controversial businessman Brown Mogotsi to June 22. The State told the court that it required to disclose the docket to the defence. Mogotsi’s legal team argues that new facts, including confirmation of his residential address, justify a renewed bail application. Mogotsi is facing criminal charges for allegedly staging his own assassination attempt in Vosloorus. He faces charges including defeating the ends of justice, perjury, unlawful firearm possession and discharging a firearm in a public place.
