Cricket: SA’s Johan Botha resigns as Queensland Bulls and Brisbane Heat coach

# Cricket: Former South African white-ball captain Johan Botha has resigned as coach of Queensland Bulls and Brisbane Heat in Australia, with one year left on his contract. He had coached both sides for the past two years. Under Botha’s tenure, the Heat had missed the Big Bash League finals for two seasons running, while Queensland made the Sheffield Shield final in his first year in charge. Queensland Cricket’s CEO, Terry Svenson, says Botha has made a strong contribution towards the development of the next generation of players.
