# The Zimbabwean government has admitted that it cannot eradicate cholera. This follows 11 confirmed deaths in the latest outbreak since November. Health experts have meanwhile argued that the disease is preventable and can be eliminated, but cite a lack of political will. Health minister Douglas Mombeshora says there are plans to prevent the disease from spreading:
