Water sector anti-corruption forum launched to tackle widespread corruption

# The government has launched its first water sector anti-corruption forum to tackle corruption in one of the most critical sectors. The forum, supported by Water and Sanitation minister Pemmy Majodina, brings together government, law enforcement, civil society, and the private sector to investigate, prevent, and enforce anti-corruption measures. This follows several Special Investigating Unit probes into the water department. The forum seeks to safeguard water resources and boost accountability and ensure clean water access for all, urging communities and water activists to get involved.
