UDM deputy president says new national crime prevention framework is needed [SOUND]

# The UDM deputy president, Nqabayomzi Kwankwa, is calling on the government of national unity to restoring trust in law enforcement and establish a new national crime prevention framework. According to the Human Sciences Research Council, only 22-percent of South Africans still trust the police. Kwankwa says that figure is not just a statistic, it is a national alarm bell, since a country without faith in its police cannot guarantee justice or safety:
