# The United Africans Transformation has slammed the Gauteng government for returning over one-billion-rand in unspent funds to the National Treasury, while clinics and schools remain in crisis. The party says 724-million-rand from the health budget and 317-million-rand from education went unused in the 2024/2025 financial year, despite widespread staff shortages, poor infrastructure, and overcrowded schools.
