# The Johannesburg Metro Police has confirmed that two of its officers were arrested in connection with alleged extortion and corruption in Parktown. Police spokesperson, Xolani Fihla  says on Saturday, the JMPD received a distress call from a concerned citizen who reported being extorted by officers.
