Tshwane’s Incentive Debt-Relief Scheme for struggling households extended [SOUND]

# The City of Tshwane council has approved the extension of the Incentive Debt Relief Scheme to May 31st. This comes after residents and businesses made their requests to have more time to take up this offer. To date the metro’s total debt stands at 25.69-billion-rand, reflecting a 13.19-percent reduction. The metro’s spokesperson, Zonke Mahlangu, says an impressive 2.42-billion-rand has been written off from registered indigent accounts, offering significant financial support to those most in need:
