# The City of Tshwane has welcomed the ruling handed down by the High Court in Pretoria relating to property developer George Asaba’s illegal Pretoria West building. The court has granted the metro the authority to demolish the unlawfully constructed multi-storey building in Proclamation Hill. Mayoral committee member for Corporate and Shared Services, Flora Monama, says the structure was erected without approved building plans and has become a safety hazard:
