Tshwane secures legal victories against land grabs and service abuse

# The City of Tshwane says it has secured a series of legal victories this week that reaffirm its commitment to upholding the rule of law, defending public land, and protecting ratepayers from systemic abuse. In the Soshanguve land grab case, the court interdicted the illegal erection of structures and ordered demolition within 14 days. In the Makondo matter, where the applicant accused the metro of disconnecting water services unlawfully, the court dismissed the application. The metro says it is unwavering in its stance against unlawful behaviour.
