# The City of Tshwane is urging residents to come forward and collect their outstanding title deeds and take an important step towards securing legal ownership of their homes. The metro currently holds four-thousand-792 uncollected title deeds across its seven regions. Mayoral committee member for Human Settlements, Aaron Maluleka, says this represents significant progress from the ten-thousand-190 uncollected title deeds recorded in July 2020, with the backlog being reduced by approximately 53-percent:
