Tshwane raids unsafe Mamelodi building and detains 13 Ethiopians

# Thirteen Ethiopian nationals were found living in unsafe, overcrowded conditions inside an illegally built warehouse in Mamelodi during a Tshwane by-law enforcement operation. The structure, built without approval across three residential properties, was found to have violated building and health codes and was shut down immediately. According to Tshwane authorities, some occupants had legal papers, while others did not. All were detained pending status verification. The foreigners operated a spaza shop inside and were reportedly paying ten-thousand-rand a month.
