Tshwane police arrest a man who has allegedly been impersonating a metro employee since 2012

# Tshwane police have arrested a man who has allegedly been posing as a city employee at the Rietvlei water treatment plant since 2012. Investigations revealed he worked under the name Prince, using the identity of Mohlaume Geoffrey Mamabolo. The metro’s spokesperson, Selby Bokaba, says the Home Affairs Department confirmed that Mamabolo’s identity document was issued in 2013. The ID number had been blocked after the suspect attempted to apply for a smart ID card. He is set to appear in court today.
