# The City of Tshwane has officially launched its 2024/25 Road Resurfacing Programme to improve infrastructure, safety, and mobility. Kicking off in Ward 39, Soshanguve South, the project targets deteriorating roads across Mabopane, Winterveld, Hammanskraal, Lynwood, Olievenhoutbosch, and Mamelodi. Mayoral committee member for Roads and Transport Tlangi Mogale says five contractors are on-site, with completion expected by end-June. She says the initiative forms part of a broader road rehabilitation plan using data-driven assessments to ensure durable infrastructure for residents.
