# The City of Tshwane says progress is being made in restoring electricity to communities supplied by the Murrayfield and Koedoespoort substations. This follows multiple cable faults after last week’s fire at the Waltloo Substation and disruption at the Njala Infeed Substation. The metro’s spokesperson, Lindela Mashigo, says teams are repairing five identified cable faults, and once they are fixed, power will begin to be restored safely:
