The City of Tshwane says it is committed to the success of the Tshwane Automotive Special Economic Zone Phase 2 and the future growth of the automotive industry. The TASEZ project includes job creation, training opportunities, and opportunities for small businesses. The metro says over half of TASEZ’s work opportunities during Phase One were allocated to the youth, while of the six-thousand-150 work opportunities projected for Phase Two, at least 50-percent will be allocated to the youth. Phase two will comprise 3.95-billion-rand public sector and 6.1-billion-rand in private sector investment.
