Tshwane is awaiting the probe outcome on 44 dismissed workers

# The City of Tshwane says it will review the cases of 44 dismissed workers once investigations into allegations against them have been concluded. The workers affiliated with the South African Municipal Workers’ Union were fired in 2021 after participating in an illegal march over salary increases. SAMWU is demanding that mayor, Nasiphi Moya rectify the dismissal of its members and honour an agreement of 3.5-percent salary increases. Deputy mayor Eugene Modise says they will consider rehiring those who were unfairly dismissed.
