Tshwane experiencing increased number of measles cases

# The City of Tshwane says it is experiencing a high number of laboratory-confirmed measles cases among children and adults, especially in regions 1 and 6. Measles is a highly contagious virus spread through coughing, sneezing, or close contact with an infected person. Symptoms include a high fever, rash, cough, runny nose, and red eyes. The metro says the outbreak Response Team has rolled out a measles-rubella vaccination campaign, targeting children aged six-months to 15-years.
