# The City of Tshwane has condemned an attempted land invasion in Ward 86, Mamelodi. A person identified as Kgoshi Lekhuleni is allegedly mobilising residents to occupy a plot, claiming ownership of two plots. Doreen Mokgolo of the Department of Human Settlements says it’s municipal land. She urges residents to exercise caution and not pay money to individuals who claim to have the authority to allocate or sell municipal land:
