# City of Tshwane’s chief financial officer, Gareth Mnisi, has been given another seven more days to submit reasons why he should not be suspended, while the allegations against him are being investigated. Testimony before the Madlanga Commission showed Mnisi exchanged information regarding Tshwane tenders with Gauteng Organised Crime Unit officer Fannie Nkosi, who has been implicated as an intermediary between crime bosses and senior police officers. The decision to afford Mnisi more time was made at a special council meeting yesterday.
