# The Tshwane Metro Police Department says its enforcement actions to improve road safety, ensure compliance with public transport regulations, and protect commuters are continuing to yield positive results. The TMPD Public Transport Unit impounded 38 vehicles for operating without valid permits in targeted operations in Atteridgeville and the Pretoria CBD this week. TMPD says public transport vehicle owners are encouraged to license their vehicles and ensure all documentation is valid. It adds that operators found non-compliant may be subject to fines and administrative action.
